New Jersey state law requires a written and signed order from a legal prescriber for medications (prescription and over the counter) being given at school, as well as signed consent from a parent/guardian. A new order is required each school year.

An Asthma Action Plan, completed and signed by your child’s physician, is required to be on file for all students diagnosed with asthma.

An Allergy Action Plan, completed and signed by your child’s physician, is required to be on file for all students with an EpiPen.

A Seizure Action Plan, completed and signed by your child’s physician, is required to be on file for all students with a seizure disorder.

Tylenol and Ibuprofen can be given with parent permission to students in grades four through twelve.
